Antisepsis

Numbers of measures to achieve low-germ or sterile conditions. Today, the term is used for antimicrobial measures that are carried out at the portal of entry of a possible infection and at the site of infection on the body surface respectively (skin, mucous membrane, wounds), or on areas uncovered during surgery.

Antiseptic

Product that kills pathogens on living tissue, for example skin and mucous membranes.
