Antisepsis

Numbers of measures to achieve low-germ or sterile conditions. Today, the term is used for antimicrobial measures that are carried out at the portal of entry of a possible infection and at the site of infection on the body surface respectively (skin, mucous membrane, wounds), or on areas uncovered during surgery.
