Gloves protect against infections and hazardous substances

Gloves are an integral part of personal protective equipment and serve to protect employees.

How to protect yourself with the right gloves

Gloves are an integral part of personal protective equipment (PPE) and are used to protect you as an employee - both from contact with body fluids and chemicals. Different types of gloves are available depending on the area of application. Medical examination gloves protect you from infectious body fluids, but also from contact with medicines such as antibiotic solutions. For use in cleaning and surface disinfection, on the other hand, protective gloves with a longer shaft are recommended. When handling hazardous substances such as disinfectant concentrates or cytostatics, chemical protective gloves are mandatory.
