Targeted disinfection of visibly contaminated surfaces

In case a surface is visibly contaminated with organic material such as blood, pus, secretions or other body fluids, it is imperative to prevent the spread of pathogens by disinfection and reduce the patient’s/resident’s risk of infection in a targeted manner.
