The Accident Prevention Regulations represent the binding obligations regarding occupational safety and health protection for each company and each insured person. In Germany, according to Art. 15 Social Code (SGB VII), the Professional Associations as carrier of the statutory accident insurance issue the Accident Prevention Regulations, which must be approved by the Federal Ministry for Employment and Social Affairs.
