What is meant by the service life of disinfectant solutions?

Service life describes the shelf life of the unused working solution.

Background:

This refers to the period during which the proven efficacy of a detergent and/or a disinfectant solution is maintained. The prerequisite is that the solution has been prepared in the recommended concentration and and then left covered while not in usage for the time frame possible according to the manufacturer's instructions.
