Surface disinfection

Method to inactivate pathogens on inanimate surfaces.
The frequency and extent of the disinfection depends on the risk potential.

There are the following different surface disinfection methods:

Routine disinfection (also: regular, prophylactic or preventive disinfection)
Terminal disinfection (also: final disinfection)
Disinfection in the event of outbreaks
Disinfection in case of officially ordered decontaminations (also: event of epidemics)
Targeted disinfection of visibly contaminated surfaces
