General term for surface disinfection methods in which the surfaces are wetted by a cloth soaked with disinfection solution or by other cleaning tools. Aqueous disinfection solutions are commonly used here. Wipe disinfection is mostly carried out by using the Two-cloth method, as it ensures hygienic working conditions.
