Leuconostoc pseudomesenteroides is a facultative anaerobic, Gram-positive, coccus-shaped bacterium belonging to the family of Leuconostocaceae.

It may trigger hospital-acquired urinary tract infection.

The main transmission path is direct or indirect contact with contaminated persons or objects.
